Coca-Cola HBC is among finalists of Partnership for Sustainability Award 2020

Coca-Cola HBC project "Our response to Covid-19" is a finalist of Partnership for Sustainability Award 2020 initiated by UN Global Compact Network in Ukraine!

Our company is a part of the community and we always do everything possible to address the critical issues.

From the first days of Covid-19 spread in Ukraine, we have joined forces with our partners to address the urgent needs of communities:

  • Volunteering of our employees on the COVID-19 governmental hotline during May-June 2020: 2,500 citizens of Ukraine were supported with consultations, 63% of all calls (during May-June) were taken by volunteers.
  • $300 000 grant from the Coca-Cola Foundation was donated to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society to support 6 key hospitals for the purchase of vital equipment to combat Covid-19: 3 medical ventilators,  13 patient monitors,  5 analyzers of electrolytes and blood gases.
  • 140,000 bottles of beverages were provided to medical workers and Covid-19 patients in 15 key hospitals across Ukraine, as well as to the elderly people, orphans and other vulnerable groups.
  • National campaign for blood donation support: we helped 15,000 blood donors in 35 Blood Centers in all regions of Ukraine.

This year, about 100 cases from 5 countries were applied for the Partnership for Sustainability Award.

The best projects were presented at the online award ceremony on November 26.
