Coca-Cola invested EUR 10 million in the modernization of a high-speed production line

Coca-Cola HBC Ukraine continues to increase its productive capacity. Coca-Cola has modernized the CAN-line at its plant in Kyiv region. This confirms both the importance of the local market for the company and its focus on innovation.

The modernization process has provided an 80% increase in efficiency. The production capacity of the line is 90,000 cans per hour. The project took 5 months to implement and the volume of investment in the project is EUR 10 million.

The new high-tech equipment of the modernized CAN line will improve productivity without increasing energy consumption, which will reduce CO2 emissions per unit of output and optimise the volume of resources used.

Coca-Cola’s plant in the Kyiv region currently has 11 production lines that produce beverages in cans, Tetra Paks, PET and glass bottles.

Coca-Cola’s Kyiv plant has been in operation for over 20 years. The company provides jobs for more than 1,300 people. The plant produces a wide portfolio of beverages: sparkling soft drinks, juices, water, energy drinks and ready-to-drink tea. The company procures raw materials from local suppliers for its beverage production.
