Coca‑Cola Beverages Ukraine received the highest award for beer-and-beverage industry

Kyiv, August 28, 2018 — Coca‑Cola Beverages Ukraine received the main award “Amber Star” as a result of the 21st International Tasting Contest.

The company receives for the third time the “Amber Star”, and this is the first time in the history of the contest, when one manufacturer receives this prestigious award three times. This year the company was awarded for the highest in Ukraine increase in the volume of production of soft drinks in 2017.

In addition, the new non-alcoholic beverage from the portfolio of Fanta Shokata® received the Honorary Cup for best design of the label and the Grand Prix for the highest quality, while seven other Coca‑Cola® products, Coca‑Cola® Zero, Coca‑Cola® Zero Lemon, Fanta® Orange, Sprite®, Schweppes® Classic Mojito and BonAqua® have received medals for high quality.

The competition is held annually under the auspices of the branch company “Ukrpyvo”, which brings together Ukrainian and international breweries of beer, malt and soft drinks. The winners’ selection is by “blind” tasting, when members of an international jury evaluate beverages according to a number of criteria: appearance, taste, color, aroma and consistency. This year 128 samples of products from 36 Ukrainian enterprises were presented for tasting.
